Spoilt For Choice

You know when you've been given a few nice things then told you have to pick one, it can be a tough decsion, for me anyway. Well that's how I felt when asked to pick a favorite from September's GlossyBox. There were quite a few items that I liked or loved. So what items were making my decsion so tough.
ModelCo. More Brows Fibre Gel, L'Oreal Professional Mythic Masque, SkinPep Enzyme and Acid Peel and Peeling Gel, Nails Inc Westminster Bridge Matt and Vichy Normaderm Night Detox and Hydrating Care.
So where do I begin? Let's start with a brand that I have before and loved- Vichy. Last time I tried their Liftactiv Advanced Filler. I really liked it and could results from the start. The only problem was that the price of a full sized product was a little too expensive for me.
This month I have their Normaderm Night Detox and Normaderm Hydrating Care.
As with the Liftactiv, I could see results staright away. Just after the first day of using them my skin felt softer and firmer. I found them both to be non-greasy and the cream absorbed into the skin very quickly. What's even better is the fact that the price of both creams are a little bit more affordable with the Hydrating Care £12.99 and the Night Detox £15.50. So it is more likely that I will be buying this next time I go into Boots.
Now those of you who have been following my blogs and vlogs will know that I am constently looking for hair products that control frizz and make my hair a little less damgaged and healthier and while there are plenty of products out there that do this I find that not many work for me, so you can imagine my delight when I tried L'Oreal'Professional Mythic Masque.
The description says that it is designed to intensley nourish and replenish the hair' and I am glad to say it did just that. My hair felt so much softer, more managable and smoother. The smell reminded me of coconuts and being at the hairdressers. I will definetly be buying this when I run out and at £15.50 for 200ml I think it is well worth it and you don't need to use much either.
Next up is SkinPep.
The peeling gel is supposed to gently exfoilate, soften and brighten up the skin. I felt it did just that and my skin felt a little more refreshed too.
I can't say so much for the eye cream. It's supposed to be a powerful dark circle eraser. I found it didn't make not even the slightest improvement so I guess not so powerful.
Although I liked the peeling gel I won't be buying it, it's way too expensive £89.99 for 100ml I don't think it's worth the price. The same for the eye cream £44.99, I don't think so.
Time to move onto some make-up, which I love. As a whole I think I spend more money on Make-Up than I do on any other beauty products.
ModelCo. More Brows Fibre Gel
I always fill in my eyebrows either with an eye pencil or a dark eyeshadow and do use a fair bit. This shade is medium/dark. When I saw this product I thought nothing special just a regular eyebrow filler in the form of a gel. I still feel somewhat the same but there are some qualites that beat using an eye pencil or shadow. Firstly, as a gel you'd think you'd need to wait for it to dry but you don't. This beauty goes on wet but dries instantly to give a natural finish and you don't need a lot of it. Also the applicator is similar to that of a mascara so you can brush and shape your eyebrows when applying.
It's £14.95 for a full sized product, a little pricey but I think it's worth it as it'll last a while.
Finall we have Nail Inc's Westminster Bridge Matt Top Coat.
This is a great product if you want to give your varnishes a different look. I tried it on a couple of nail varnishes that I have and found I only had to use one coat to give a more natural appearence and gives a lovely matt finsh. It also dries very quickly which is always good when it comes to nail varnishes. £12 for a full sized product, I think is good for such a brand I thought it would be more expensive and again will last some time.
Time to pick a favorite?
After pondering for a while I managed to narrow it down to two products, the Mythic Masque and the Vichy Normaderm creams. Both I felt exceeded my expectations and are products that I will be buying again and worth the price. Let's hope October's box will be just as good
